KS2 Immersive Workshop - Science.
On Monday 15th, Emma from Love Science is coming into school to do a workshop with KS2 children.  They will be sheep tracking their Light unit from the last academic year.  In the hour they will be investigating:
UV Paint - Using UV paint we can discover the power of the sun.
Spinning optical illusion - Using the trick of light and our brain to create optical illusions.
Splitting light - We use defection glasses and prisms to split light and create rainbows
Make LED torches - to show how the colours of light mix (made red, blue and green, when they mix you get the secondary colours).
We hope that they are able to embed their learning through practical and fun experiences!

Online Gaming - Roblox
Online gaming can be great fun for our children and we teach widely in school about how to be safe when playing online. A game we know many of our children (across the school) enjoy is Roblox. This site can be suitable for wide age-range but needs to be managed carefully with support from adults at home. Please see the following website for  specific information and advice to support you at home: www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-children-safe/online-safety/online-safety-blog/roblox/
