World Book Day Friday 12 March 2021

25 Feb 2021

This year we have decided to celebrate World Book Day on Friday 12th March, when all of our pupils are in school, so that we can celebrate one of our favourite days of the year together!

This year we are not dressing up.  Alternatively, pupils are invited to make/bring a prop, object or symbol that relates to their favourite story or character.  One of our exciting tasks on the day will be linked to this task…watch this space!

We will also be re-opening our school library, which each bubble will be able to visit safely.

Your teachers have some fantastic activities planned for you throughout the day, including an art competition that everyone can enter!

The final part of our World Book Day, as well as the end of our first week back, will be celebrated with hot chocolate and a special story.

Have fun creating your prop/object/symbol in preparation for this special day–we look forward to celebrating our love of reading, books and authors on 12th March, as much as we do every day!
