Weekly Updates - Week ending 30th September 2022
Good morning,
Please see below for any updates for the week ahead.
In school next week:
Homework meeting
Parents are invited to attend one of the meetings below.
The meeting will include an opportunity to ask questions about the policy and information about our launch of ‘reading for pleasure’. This will then be followed by a homework ‘market place’ where parents can ask homework specific questions and ask for further advice on the homework expectations from the different homework ‘stalls’ on phonics and spelling, maths and reading.
Parents can attend the meeting at either site.
Please check the class pages for the homework for this week.

New dates
Please note, there are a few new dates on the diary for friend’s events. We also have the addition of a ‘super hero day’.
Superhero day is taking place on Friday 21st of October and is Daisy’s idea which we all loved!
Here is her message:
‘Superhero day is about how everyone is different and difference is what makes people sparkle and shine like the brightest stars in the sky. You can wear to school your super hero costume, from a dress or top, cape or mask. Be you and do you this day; this is a day to spread your wings. You are allowed to spread you wings and fly.’
Daisy
So come dressed as your hero, or dressed in something that you love doing and are a hero at, or come dressed as your super power – we all have them!
There will be a special hero lunch provided by Sharon and a talent show in the afternoon to show off your skills and powers if you would like.
£1,00 donations gratefully received for our Harvest Charity.
