St Nicholas CE Primary School Day
At St Nicholas School our day begins at 8.50 am. Children may arrive at school at 8.40 am and enter their classroom to access early morning tasks in preparation for the day's learning.
During our morning sessions each class has both an exercise break, as well as a playtime.
Lunch break begins at 12:00pm and after lunch break afternoon sessions begin at 1:00pm.
We meet together daily for Collective Worship at 9am.
Every afternoon each class enjoys a fitness break.
Our school day ends at 3.25 pm and we ask parents to collect children from the main school yard (Asteroids Class) and the outdoor area (Rockets Class). Teachers will hand children over to parents. Older children with written parental permission are allowed to walk home alone. Children attending after school clubs or travelling on the school bus are supervised by a staff member.
